Rosacea Home > Rosacea Skin Condition

A common condition that often affects the skin on the face, rosacea causes symptoms like redness, pimples, and thickened skin. Other symptoms include frequent redness or flushing of the face, a swollen nose, and small red lines under the skin. Although the exact causes of rosacea are not known, many experts believe that it is either inherited or may occur when blood vessels expand too easily.

This chronic skin condition has no cure, but the symptoms can often be improved with oral and topical antibiotics.
