Oracea Drug Interactions
Quinapril may decrease the absorption of Oracea, perhaps making it less effective. Separate your doses of Oracea and quinapril by as much time as possible (at least two hours).
Oracea may increase the level of ranolazine in the blood, perhaps increasing the risk of side effects of ranolazine. Check with your healthcare provider before taking these medications together.
Combining Oracea with some retinoid medications may increase the risk of a dangerous condition known as intracranial hypertension. In many cases, such combinations are not recommended. Be sure to check with your healthcare provider before combining such medications, making specific mention of this interaction.
Combining Oracea and warfarin may increase the risk of bleeding. Your healthcare provider may choose to monitor your INR and prothrombin time more frequently and adjust your warfarin dosage if necessary.
It is possible that not all interactions were discussed in this article. Therefore, you should talk with your pharmacist or healthcare provider about any specific drug interactions with Oracea that may apply to you.
