Rosecea

Rosacea is a chronic skin disease that may sometimes affect the eyes (in addition to the skin). It is more common in women than in men, and is characterized by frequent redness or flushing of the face, inflamed eyes and eyelids, and small red lines under the skin. While there is currently no cure for rosacea, symptoms can be treated and controlled with oral and topical antibiotics. Electrosurgery and laser surgery are also available to improve the skin without much scarring or damage.
